Why owners pick Dellamano for water heaters

The reason a hot-water install doesn’t flood a closet six months later.

01Owner-held Plumbing license

Aldo personally holds FL #CFC1434398 — not a subcontracted plumber with a same-day slot to squeeze you into.

02Gas & electrical in-house

Tank-to-tankless converts need new gas piping and a dedicated circuit. Both under Aldo’s own licenses — one crew, one permit, one visit.

03Real haul-off

Old tank drained, disconnected, and hauled to a proper metal recycler — not left on the curb for the trash collectors to reject.

04Permitted & inspected

Every install pulled — the expansion tank, T&P valve, and pan are code items home inspectors flag on resale. Do it right the first time.

Frequently asked

Water Heater · the questions Aldo answers every week.

How long does a water heater replacement take?

Standard tank-for-tank swap is same-day — a few hours to drain, disconnect, remove, install, and pressure-test. A tank-to-tankless conversion runs one to two days because of the gas line upsizing, vent rework, and dedicated circuit.

Tank or tankless — which is right for a South Florida home?

Tank is cheaper up-front, simpler, and fine for most homes. Tankless is worth the conversion cost if you have three or more full baths, a garden tub that outruns your tank, or a household running back-to-back showers. We’ll size the option to your actual hot-water demand before quoting.

Do you install recirculation systems for large homes?

Yes. Recirculation loops eliminate the 90-second wait for hot water at the far-end master bath. Pump, timer, and either a dedicated return line or an under-sink comfort valve — sized per house.

Do you handle the permit and haul the old unit away?

Every time. Every install is permitted under FL Plumbing Contractor #CFC1434398 and scheduled for inspection. The old unit is drained, hauled off, and disposed of at no extra charge.
