The reason a South Florida AC actually holds up.
01Owner-held Mechanical license
Aldo Dellamano personally holds FL Mechanical Contractor #CMC1251666. Every install signed by the qualifier, not a rented name.
02Sized to your envelope
Manual J load calc on every upsize or downsize. No lazy tonnage matching — oversized systems short-cycle and shorten their own lives.
03Electrical in-house
Dedicated circuit, whip, and disconnect all under Aldo’s own EC license. No waiting for the electrician to make it to your driveway.
04Permitted & inspected
Every install pulled and closed. Skipping the permit is what haunts you at the next home inspection or insurance renewal.
HVAC Services · the questions Aldo answers every week.
How long does a South Florida HVAC replacement take?
One to four days for most residential replacements — same-day for a condenser swap, one to two days for a full split-system change-out, three to four for full ductwork rework. New construction runs one to two weeks depending on the number of zones and ductwork complexity.
Do you handle the permit and Manual J load calc?
Yes. Every install pulled under FL Mechanical Contractor #CMC1251666. Manual J load calculation is included on any system upsize or downsize so the tonnage matches your actual thermal envelope — not just what fit before.
Do you install mini-splits for additions and Florida rooms?
Regularly. Ductless mini-splits are the right answer for additions, garage conversions, Florida rooms, and casitas where extending the existing ductwork would starve the main house. Single-zone or multi-zone, permitted and inspected.
Do you service systems installed by another contractor?
Yes — repair, refrigerant recovery and recharge, thermostat and controls, ductwork sealing, and diagnostic visits on any brand. We’ll write a fixed-bid before the wrench comes out.
